How does Warranly differ from insurance-backed warranty apps?
Insurance-backed apps take 20–40% of every warranty sale as their commission. Warranly is self-managed — you set the prices, you keep 100% of revenue, and you handle the claims process yourself. You pay a flat monthly fee through Shopify, nothing more.
Do I need to handle warranty claims myself?
Yes — that's the trade-off for keeping 100% of revenue. Warranly gives you the admin tools to make this efficient: a customer self-service portal, photo upload, auto-approve rules, and integrations with helpdesks like Gorgias and Zendesk on the Scale plan. Most claims take 2–3 minutes to review.
Does it work with my Shopify theme?
Yes — Warranly uses native Shopify Theme App Extensions, which work on every Online Store 2.0 theme. There's no theme code to edit, no script tags to add, and no compatibility issues with theme updates. Setup is a single click in the theme customizer.
What happens when I hit my plan's sales limit?
Nothing breaks. You continue selling warranties past your monthly limit, and a small overage fee applies per additional sale (between $0.10 and $0.25 depending on your plan). When overage charges approach the next tier's price, we'll recommend an upgrade — but you're never blocked from selling.
Do you support international stores?
Yes — Pro and Scale plans include native Shopify Markets support with auto-converted prices for 14+ currencies, 14+ languages, and per-market pricing overrides. The widget, claims portal, and emails are all translated automatically.
Can I migrate from another warranty app?

Is my data secure?
